The Company
Lanna Thai Crafts is a fully registered private limited company operating from just outside the city of Chiang Mai in northern Thailand. It is a family owned and controlled operation, with shareholders from both Thailand and the United Kingdom. We have strong in-house capabilities in the areas of product sourcing, website programming and organisational management owing to the collective experience of our shareholders and CEO. This means that we can simultaneously plan for long-term stability whilst being able to respond to specific customer requirements quickly and effectively without the need for third parties. We realise that the fine handicrafts we offer are only one part of our overall proposal. Speed, efficiency and attention to detail in the fulfillment of your order or query are every bit as important to us.

    The CEO
    Our CEO is Mukda Kiengkum. Mukda (Thai nickname of 'Pook') supervised the setting up of our company and implemented its core business processes with the help of some of the shareholders. She was born and raised in the north of Thailand and had her first experience in business selling vegetables outside her home at the age of 10 before progressing on to a stall selling the popular Thai dish 'Som Tam' at 13. Having completed a business diploma in 1990 at the Lat Praow School of Commerce in Bangkok, Mukda enjoyed several years of success in the field of catering both in Thailand and the United Kingdom before settling down with her family near Chiang Mai. She is married with two children.
